The MYT GLIDE, a next generation multi-purpose ultra-lightweight video dolly slider, comes equipped with unprecedented features. These revolutionary capabilities provide filmmakers with a tremendous amount of versatility and on-the-spot options for sliding motion whether they are shooting features, documentaries, commercials or industrials.

MYT SKATE CAMERA DOLLY ROVER

The MYT SKATE is a first of its kind video camera skater dolly. This trackless dolly system allows for smooth and easy tracking movements with little to no prep time involved. The MYT SKATE dolly is engineered to work on any surface be it floor, counter top, carpet or even pavement. The possibilities are endless.

LIGHTWEIGHT SYSTEM

When it comes to weight, we've built the MYT GLIDE slider to have the highest weight to load ratio on the market today. To give some perspective, the MYT Large camera dolly weighs in at 25 pounds and can easily carry loads of up to 200 pounds. Similarly, the 15-pound MYT Medium Glide handles up to an 80 pound load and only weighs about 15 pounds itself. Finally, our MYT Small camera slider dolly clocks in at 7 pounds and can handle a 25-pound camera setup. With all of the customized accessories that go into filmmaking, we wanted to ensure camera operators could put as much gear on their slider as possible without sacrificing functionality and movement. HEAVY LOAD CAPACITY

Our MYT line of camera slider dollies and trackless dolly systems are the leanest and lightest Glide and Skate dollies on the market today, while also being capable of handling most any load capacity. This essentially means that the MYT line is the only portable dolly system offering a whole range of camera support. From the latest generation light HD camcorders (i.e. the HVX, EX3's of the world) to the heavyweight workhorse cameras used in feature and commercial productions (i.e RED's, Phantom's, Varicams), the MYT GLIDE and MYT SKATE can handle it all.

LIMITLESS MOUNTING OPTIONS

We believe the MYT GLIDE camera slider dolly offers more mounting options than any slider or glider system out there on the market today. Out of the box, you'll notice mounting options nearly everywhere over the length of the slider on each of the dolly's plates. We've positioned threaded holes on the Static, Center Static, and Cheese Plates for your convenience. As such, the MYT GLIDE can be mounted on tripods, monopods, jibs, light stands, 5/8 studs, 1/4 20's, and even wood surfaces using regular screws. We've done everything we can to ensure that you can use the your portable MYT camera dolly system anywhere, from a ceiling to a car hood, and every conceivable location in between.

STATE OF THE ART TECHNOLOGY

The MYT GLIDE dolly slider represents a combination of engineering and technology previously unavailable in portable camera dolly systems. We've taken sleeve bearings and modified them by adding a wheel support inside the enclosures allowing for an even smoother gliding motion. We've also created a "suspended-state carriage" design. By implementing play between the carriage and the rails themselves, our engineers have developed a system impervious to changes in operational temperature and fluctuations in track expansion due to changes in environmental pressure. The unprecedented engineering employed in the MYT design requires CNC machining of the highest caliber and precision, resulting in a dolly with extremely tight tolerances and incredibly smooth fluid-head like motion.

MYT Works, Inc. is a design, engineering, and manufacturing company based in NYC created as endeavor of Turn of the Century Pictures, a film production studio in operation for a decade. Our experience as filmmakers informed the decision to create MYT Works, primarily our dissatisfaction both in terms of cost as well as functionality with many of the camera support options available on the market today, hence our motto: Born Out of Frustration. As such, our goal is to develop innovative, affordable, and most importantly high quality solutions for filmmakers in all levels of production. We like to say that MYT Works is a company created "by filmmakers for filmmakers," because at the end of the day we would not make something that we ourselves wouldn't want to use.
