Our half ball adaptor can be used with the 3/8 thread directly on the Static plate or with the 3 Allan screws provided. The screws go through the 3 through-holes surrounding the stud caps. It makes for a far more secure attachment, one that also prevents the MYT Glide from turning loose if inadvertently pushed on one side. It it also a snugger fit.
