MYT Dynamic Plate
One of the most useful and innovative accessories available for the MYT GLIDE system, the MYT Dynamic plate allows operators to attach a tripod head or half ball adaptor in any position along the bottom of the track. Very useful to balance, set up and change position without disassembling the camera, the head and the MYT GLIDE. Once in the desired position, secure your setup with the Dynamic Plate's locking bearing and you are ready to shoot. Installation is also straightforward, simply remove one of the wood end-caps and slide the plate onto the bottom rails. Only available for the MYT GLIDE Medium & Large.
MYT Mounts
The comprehensive family of MYT Mounts cover the spectrum of mounting options in every load category. All of our Mounts are manufactured in house, with all CNC machining, using no pre-cast parts. We carry 75, 100 and 150mm MYT Bowl Mounts, the MYT Mitchell Mount as well as Flat Mounts.
A Note On Flat Mounts
Flat Mounts are getting more popular with filmmakers. Some fluid head manufacturers now offer tripod heads with no 75 or 100 mm half ball allowing for attachment of the head directly onto a flat surface with a bolt. This is where the MYT Flat Mount comes in. With a center hole large enough to handle all standard bolts, you can mount your camera on variety of flat base fluid heads. MYT Works offers Flat Mounts compatible with all MYT GLIDES.
MYT Rods
Except for the Flat Mount systems which come with 1" Rods to maintain a low profile, all MYT GLIDES and MYT SKATES come standard with 3" Male/Female Rods. In addition to these, we're excited to present a complete line of high-grade aluminum rods to suit a variety of needs and applications. The family of MYT Rods begins with the one inch(1") rods allowing for "Low riding" positions on either the bowls or Flat Mounts. We also offer rods of 5", 7" and 12" lengths. These longer rods can both replace the 3" rods that come equipped with your MYT and also be used in conjunction with them. By simply unscrewing the rod caps with any coin, longer rod extensions can be screwed into the standard rods.
The MYT Rods come in a Hybrid 15 and 19 mm diameter size making them very practical for accessories and various mounting options. Female threads are spread along the MYT GLIDE and SKATE on the Static, Center Static and Dynamic Plates, also along the Handle Brackets and the Carriage, to allow for multiple MYT Rods mounting possibilities. We also carry a line of Stainless Steel MYT Rods in 1" and 3" sizes for very heavy loads in demanding applications. These Stainless Steel MYT Rods are usually reserved for use with the 150mm bowl and Mitchell Mounts.
MYT SRP Locking Bolts
MYT SRP Locking Bolts: Affordably priced, these easy-to-use bolts will tighten and straighten the connection between your MYT Hi-Hat and Carriage. To use, you simply take the rod plugs out, place the MYT Hi-Hat back into place and screw in the SRP’s from below. Though they do limit the extent to which you can take advantage of the 3-in-1 single lever technology, having to unscrew each bolt before removing and moving the Hi-Hat, they provide extraordinary stability for your MYT Hi-Hat. These bolts are practical and portable accessories that function incredibly well for certain types of camera work.
MYT Bullseye Level
There is more than "meets the eye" with our MYT Bullseye. Made of Stainless Steel with a 4/20 thread the MYT Bulleye can easily be unscrewed and moved to pretty much anywhere on the MYT GLIDE and MYT SKATE. The Static, CenterStatic and Cheese Plates have many threaded mounting holes, as do the Carriage and Handle Brackets.
Half Ball Adapters
A "must have" accessory that saves you from sacrificing a fluid head to hold the MYT GLIDE. Also quite useful when you want to use two tripods to hold the MYT GLIDE. This accessory is available in 75 and 100mm sizes.
MYT Stud
The MYT Stud is a no brainer for any operator wanting to mount any light on a stud mounted on one of our rod. Our rods come in lengths ranging from 1 to 12 inches. The MYT Stud can also be mounted directly onto threads located on the MYT GLIDE and the MYT SKATE. We've even pushed the convenience further by including a 4/20 threaded hole in the center of the MYT Stud to offer additional mounting options. Made of stainless steel, the MYT Stud is designed to support any fixture you choose to mount on it.
MYT Handle Brackets
More than just a handle for the MYT Hi-Hat, the MYT Handle Bracket is a multi-functional device designed to support additional rods. Threads are located on each corner of the bracket, allowing you to mount additional devices or rods which can be used as extra guiding handles. The MYT Handle Bracket comes in two sizes, one for the MYT Small and the other for the MYT Medium and MYT Large.
MYT Wooden Handles
MYT Wooden Handles come in both Small and Large sizes. Compatible with both the MYT GLIDE and MYT SKATE, they are particularly useful mounted on the Handle Bracket or the Carriage. Once you've used them, we doubt you'll be able to do without. We recommend using two handles in unison, it allows for greater grip and control of the carriage and more precise motion when gliding back and forth.
MYT Rotating Mitchell Base
Why re-invent the wheel?In this case we mean The Ratchet Locking Plate. Bill from Willy's Widgets has been doing it for years. We simply took Bill's beautiful Ratchet Locking Plate and improved upon its design to fit our needs. One of the most important things we did was reduce its weight from 12 to 7 pounds. The result? Very light, compact and easy to use. A perfect interface with our Medium & Large MYT GLIDES. The MYT Rotating Mitchell Base, only from MYT Works!
MYT Baby Feet
So simple and extremely Versatile with numerous possible uses on the MYT GLIDE. MYT Baby Feet are composed of a soft rubber sphere and our MYT 1" Rod. The sphere and rod form the entire unit and should not be separated. The MYT Baby Feet will mount on the numerous half 13 threads, located both on the static plates and the cheese plates. Our Baby Feet provide stability on slick surfaces and prevent scratching of pristine bases. Furthermore, you can attach any length of our modular rods to make your Baby Feet into Baby Legs.
MYT Carrying Cases
We now carry two versions of our popular carrying cases: The Soft Carrying Case and the Hard Carrying Case.
The Soft Case is custom made from 100% waterproof Cordura and is able to tough it out in even the most adverse on-location situations. Hand sewn here in the USA, our MYT Soft Cases are truly one of a kind.
The Hard Case is custom made in New York City of the most rugged materials available. The corners and frames are steel reinforced and the heavy-duty webbed straps secures your MYT in its bed of durable foam. Perfect for the frequent flyer.
Each case is a equipped with a shoulder strap, leather handles, rubber feet, nickel oversized zippers, and an outside pouch for accessories. Every aspect of this carrying case was made with practicality and ease of use in mind, allowing for you protect your MYT GLIDE while not in use as well as conveniently travel with your MYT system.
